“It does not matter where you are going, what matter is, deciding to get ON the train….” – Polar Express

Indeed.
The courage for deciding to proceed with something even without a confirmed result or ending but with just a profound trust for the “powerful invincible Force” seems to be a mystery. The decision to say “yes we can” and the belief to say to yourself “Yes, I can” is a bold statement. It is a powerful tool to increase levels of self-esteem, to plunge yourself headfirst without knowing if you’re going to succeed or not.
That to me is one heck of a powerful proactivity.
And I’ve experienced the magical powers of being proactive one morning, in a particular offsite location, or should i say, road? That’s DINALUPIHAN exit to nowhere. Haha. Giggles, i swear that was one hilarious-but-shamey event of my life!
There I was, together with a colleague and our Inspirational Officer, enjoying the cool sights of green fields which Mother Nature generously provided (and its up to us humans on how to take care of it all). We actually met On time, started to pave our way for the activity that day take this, “on time” . So i thought, “nothing could definitely go wrong”.
Good conversations flowed in, topics on Billboards, showbiz buzz breaks (Krissy! I miss you na! {imitating the kris aquino voice, two thumbs up for Angelica Panganiban for doing so}), and lots of Hayden issues too. Haha. Giggles. Oh, not forgetting the Vicky Belo’s super healthy(duh!) oats tarpaulin, with her gloating over her product with a half-open mouth (I wonder before, why are her billboards always showing her with that pose? Now I know…and Im not telling, but I for one would not want to have my face done….no implications here guys….just read between the lines…shhhhh) Haha.
How would you react to this?

The Road to Neverland... Hahahaha.
Beautiful isn’t it?
YES. in real life, it was a much perfect site which can wash all of your worries away.
That’s a mountain, cut in half by a bread knife (what?), haha. Kidding!
Now let me get back to my story blogging. After several toll stops, still on track and on time…oooops…did i say on track? Here comes the catch, there’s a particular right turn on SCTEX which we are supposed to take, but we drove right away because I justified too that during my first time of passing in SCTEX we never took a right turn (oh gee, me and my BIG-talking-MOUTH, sorry Ms. Cris!!! shyness…I vow never to speak of something I’m unsure of ever again.hahaha.)
Then, all of a sudden, it’s as if alienation loomed over the universe, mothership of all space crafts are trying to control all of our movements, I noticed that the green fields are more pronounced this time.
Just beautiful. Freaking and breathtakingly beautiful which makes me one supercalifragilisticexpialodocious psychology brat. I loved the view, but, deep inside of the pits of my stomach, butterflies are flying everywhere. Trying to get out of my nerves. Because I know that we are lost, and it seems to me that we will never get back on the right track ever again. So much for the wonderful picture perfect drama!
Hahahahaha. And it took us several SCTEX helpline calls (just to make us feel better), and some calls too from my boss. Gee, it really is funny and freaky when you got lost and there’s no U turn or something..just cars driving around you and the scenery.
The road just keeps on going and going and going. I tried on calling my lolo Ching and Lolo Cesing (in chinese culture, there’s a saying that your loved ones who passed away seems to be guiding you everyday from a very special place, always looking out for you and ready to help you out of your shit) I think after several mountains cut in half (so pretty), my prayers has been answered. Eureka (thanks Archimedes), we found the exit!!!
Now we headed back to the right track in a faster manner. Ms. Cris was so cool for trying to be just in control of what’s happening, however, I wished she enjoyed the scene too. haha.
We were able to think of ways on how to savor and enjoy the moment, while hiding our bursting nervous system. Being proactive can be practiced in times you never imagined. It’s a part of life. You have it in you. Instead of stopping at the middle of that sctex, we never stopped (as if we can), we plunge headfirst into a road where we do not know where it might lead us.
Now i thought, i wished that road could be linked to Europe or something. For us to be in 2 place or several places at one time! That’s one heck of a dream!
Haha. You want to be proactive? take that exit. And take the train for an instance. Smile while driving on the road. Do not be afraid of not knowing where to go… just trust your instinct.
Laugh and dance.

and for the finale, one last look…oh…I want a franchise! mom Please? Just a franchise! And i will never bug you for shopping again! Ever. Promise.
